    AutoPot AirBase | Happy Hydro

    Skip the drainage layer entirely

    The AutoPot AirBase is a rigid ABS plastic plate that drops into the bottom of your pot and replaces the perlite, clay pebble, or hydroton drainage layer. It saves setup time, eliminates the need to pH-balance pebbles, and makes cleanup between runs significantly faster. The center section pops out to accept an AirDome underneath for root zone aeration, but the AirBase works perfectly fine on its own.

    How to install the AirBase

    Choose your shape

    Square for 2.2 and 3.9 gallon plastic pots (1Pot, easy2grow). Round for 6.6 gallon XL pots and 3 or 5 gallon GeoPot fabric pots.

    Drop it in the pot

    Place the AirBase flat on your root control disc at the bottom of the pot. If using an AirDome, pop out the center section and seat the AirDome underneath first.

    Fill with substrate

    Pour your blended substrate directly on top of the AirBase. No need for any pebble layer. The rigid plate keeps substrate from sitting directly in any water that pools at the bottom of the pot.

    Reuse after harvest

    When the cycle ends, pull the AirBase out, rinse it clean, and drop it right back in for the next run. It lasts for years of repeated use.

    Frequently asked questions
    Pebbles still work. The AirBase just saves time by eliminating the buying, rinsing, pH-balancing, and cleanup steps. If you're growing one or two pots, pebbles are fine. If you're running four or more pots, the convenience adds up quickly.
    No. The AirBase works on its own as a drainage layer replacement. The pop-out center is there if you want to add an AirDome later, but it's completely optional.
    One per pot. A 4-pot system needs 4 AirBases. The 4-pack is the most convenient option for this setup. PRO system kits already include AirBases, so check whether yours came with them before ordering extras.
    No. AutoPot does not make AirBases for the XXL 9 and 13 gallon fabric pots. Those pots do not use a drainage layer in standard operation.
    No, the shapes are not interchangeable. Square AirBases are sized for the square 2.2 and 3.9 gallon pots. Round AirBases are sized for the round 6.6 gallon XL pots and the 3 and 5 gallon GeoPot fabric pots. The wrong shape will not sit flat.
    If you receive a defective or damaged unit, email us a photo at help@happyhydro.com and we'll make it right immediately: replacement or refund, your call. For change-of-mind returns, we accept returns within 30 days for items in new, resalable condition. If you're not sure whether this product is right for your setup, call us first at 716-217-0353.     Shipping
    Check the order confirmation sent to your email or phone after checkout — it includes a tracking link. If you use the Shop App, you can track your order there too.
    Most orders arrive in 3-5 business days. Expedited options (2-day, overnight) are available at checkout if you need it sooner.
    Signature is only required on orders over $500. For added privacy, we can ship to your local UPS Store so you pick it up on your own schedule — just ask.
    We default to UPS Ground or USPS Ground Advantage. Select an expedited option at checkout and we'll use the appropriate carrier for that service.
    • P.O. boxes: Yes, for small and lightweight items.
    • International: Canada only. Email help@happyhydro.com your address and a screenshot of your cart for a shipping quote.
    • APO/FPO: Not currently available.
    For Canadian orders, import duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility. You'll complete payment using your tracking number at UPS.com when your package arrives.
    Title and risk of loss pass to you once we hand off to the carrier, but that doesn't mean we leave you hanging. Email help@happyhydro.com and we'll work overtime to track it down and make it right.

    We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, Coinbase, and Happy Hydro gift cards. Your card is charged immediately at checkout.
    Double-check your billing address and card number. For larger purchases, your bank may have flagged it — a quick call to authorize the transaction usually sorts it out.
    Promotions

    Returns & Cancellations
    Email help@happyhydro.com within 30 days of delivery and we'll get you a refund or replacement, your choice. Items must be in original packaging with all parts in resalable condition. Multi-light orders, grow tents, orders over $500, and multi-box shipments may incur return shipping charges. AK, HI, and international buyers are responsible for return and warranty shipping. Some vendor-specific policies may apply — check the product page for details.
    Refunds are processed through Shopify within 10 business days. Most customers see the credit back in about 5 days.
