This PRO air filtration kit pairs a 4-inch AeroZesh G4 inline fan with a GrowHub E42A+ WiFi controller, a carbon filter, and ducting, so your tent stays cool and odor-free without you touching it. The E42A+ reads temperature and humidity and ramps the EC fan up or down to hold your target, and the sealed carbon filter scrubs the exhaust before it leaves the tent. It is sized for spaces up to about a 2 x 4 ft tent, and it all connects and runs through the VIVOSUN app.

The EC motor is quiet and efficient, and PWM control gives smooth speed across the whole range instead of the all-or-nothing of a basic fan.

Sealed carbon filter

The included carbon filter scrubs odor out of the air before it leaves the tent, so your grow stays discreet. A prefilter wrap extends its life.

Mount the fan and filter

Hang the AeroZesh G4 fan and carbon filter inside the top of your tent using the included straps.

Run the ducting

Connect the ducting from the filter through the fan and out a tent port, and lock it with the clamps.

Plug into the E42A+

Plug the fan into the GrowHub E42A+, place the sensor probe in the canopy, and pair it with the app.

Choose your temperature and humidity target, and the controller ramps the fan automatically from there.

Frequently asked questions
The 4-inch fan is a good match for tents up to about 2 x 4 ft. A 4-inch handles small tents up to around 2 x 4 ft, and an 8-inch suits larger spaces like a 5 x 5 or 4 x 8 ft. If you are between sizes or running a lot of heat, size up, and we are glad to confirm the right one for your tent.
Both are AeroZesh PWM-controlled EC inline fans and perform comparably at the same diameter. The letter marks the series, with small differences in housing and mounting. For most growers the size matters far more than the series, so pick by fan diameter for your tent, and we will help if you want the specifics.
The GrowHub E42A+ runs on 2.4G WiFi and is set up through the VIVOSUN app, which is where the automatic temperature and humidity control lives. It keeps running its last settings if WiFi drops, but the app is where you set targets and see readings, so it is the heart of what makes this a PRO kit.
The EC motor is much quieter than a basic AC fan, and because the E42A+ only runs it as hard as it needs to, it spends most of its time at a low, soft speed rather than full blast. For a quieter room, add a duct silencer, and we can point you to one.
Yes, when set up right. The included carbon filter scrubs the exhaust before it leaves the tent, and running your tent at slight negative pressure, which this fan is sized to do, means air leaves only through the filter. Replace the prefilter as it loads up and the carbon filter over time to keep it working.
Yes. The GrowHub E42A+ can run other VIVOSUN gear such as your grow light and clip fans alongside the exhaust, so your whole tent works from one controller and one app. Tell us what else you are running and we will confirm it all connects.
If you receive a defective or damaged unit, email us a photo at help@happyhydro.com and we'll take care of you. For change-of-mind returns, we accept returns within 30 days for most items in new, resalable condition. Shipping
Check the order confirmation sent to your email or phone after checkout — it includes a tracking link. If you use the Shop App, you can track your order there too.
Most orders arrive in 3-5 business days. Expedited options (2-day, overnight) are available at checkout if you need it sooner.
Signature is only required on orders over $500. For added privacy, we can ship to your local UPS Store so you pick it up on your own schedule — just ask.
We default to UPS Ground or USPS Ground Advantage. Select an expedited option at checkout and we'll use the appropriate carrier for that service.
  • P.O. boxes: Yes, for small and lightweight items.
  • International: Canada only. Email help@happyhydro.com your address and a screenshot of your cart for a shipping quote.
  • APO/FPO: Not currently available.
For Canadian orders, import duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility. You'll complete payment using your tracking number at UPS.com when your package arrives.
Title and risk of loss pass to you once we hand off to the carrier, but that doesn't mean we leave you hanging. Email help@happyhydro.com and we'll work overtime to track it down and make it right.
Payment
We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, Coinbase, and Happy Hydro gift cards. Your card is charged immediately at checkout.
Double-check your billing address and card number. For larger purchases, your bank may have flagged it — a quick call to authorize the transaction usually sorts it out.
Promotions
Enter your code in the "Promo code" box at checkout and click Apply. One code per order, but you can combine a gift card with a promo code if you have both.

Returns & Cancellations
Email help@happyhydro.com within 30 days of delivery and we'll get you a refund or replacement, your choice. Items must be in original packaging with all parts in resalable condition. Multi-light orders, grow tents, orders over $500, and multi-box shipments may incur return shipping charges. AK, HI, and international buyers are responsible for return and warranty shipping. Some vendor-specific policies may apply — check the product page for details.
Refunds are processed through Shopify within 10 business days. Most customers see the credit back in about 5 days.
