How to Use Gaia Green Cannabis Soil Amendments in Your Next Grow

First, please note—only amend your soil if you are reusing a medium or working with a medium that doesn't contain plant nutrients. These amounts are to be used with Gaia Green Organic dry amendments only.

If you are growing in soil that has been previously amended or are unsure of your soil's nutrient levels, start by doing a soil test before adding any cannabis soil amendments.

1. Start by removing large root masses—smaller ones will decompose naturally, returning valuable nutrients to the soil.

2. Break up any clumps to achieve a smooth consistency, and consider adding 10–15% perlite for improved drainage.

3. Finally, add Gaia Green’s balanced blends at the recommended rates. Mix them thoroughly to maintain rich, active soil that plants crave.

This schedule is for top dressing plants every 3-4 weeks. Double everything for amending new soil.

Vegetative Stage:

70/30 of All Purpose 4-4-4 & Power Bloom 2-8-4; Add 1 tbsp per gallon of medium. 

(Ex. 7 tbsp 4-4-4 & 3 tbsp of 2-8-4 for 10 gallons)

Blooming Stage:

50/50 of All Purpose 4-4-4 & Power Bloom 2-8-4; Add 2 tbsps per gallon of medium. 

(Ex. 10 tbsp of 4-4-4 and 10 tbsp of 2-8-4 for 10 gallons)

If you top dress twice in bloom, use a 70/30 Power Bloom to All Purpose ratio for the second feeding.
