The AC Infinity Ionboard S24 is a 220W full-spectrum LED grow light built around 544 Samsung LM301H diodes on a fanless aluminum board. It covers a 2x4 ft. footprint with 2.65 µmol/J efficiency, dims from 0 to 100% in 20% increments, and plugs directly into AC Infinity's UIS controller ecosystem for automated scheduling. The board is IP65-sealed, so humidity and dust are not a concern.

AC Infinity's Horticulture Series diodes blend 3000K and 6500K white LEDs with 660nm red and 730nm far-red. The diodes are algorithmically positioned across the board for uniform PAR coverage and deep canopy penetration.

1,726 PPFD at full power 220W

Measured center-canopy in a 2x4 reflective tent. That is enough photon density for high-light crops through the entire flowering cycle without supplemental lighting.

0-100% dimming in 20% steps

The proprietary IB-200 driver includes a control knob on the unit. Dial it down for seedlings, up for flower, without swapping fixtures or buying a separate dimmer.

UIS platform and daisy chaining

Connect to a Controller 69 Pro or Controller AI for automated light schedules, sunrise/sunset ramps, and app-based monitoring. Daisy chain multiple boards off one controller using expansion dongles (sold separately).

IP65-sealed fanless aluminum body

The unibody aluminum board dissipates heat without fans, so there are zero moving parts and zero noise. The IP65 seal keeps moisture and dust out of the diode array and driver connections.

50,000-hour rated lifespan

At 18 hours per day, that works out to roughly 7.5 years of continuous use before diode output begins to degrade. AC Infinity backs the unit with a 2-year warranty.

How to set up the Ionboard S24

1

Hang the board

Use the included metal bar hangers or rope hangers to mount the board inside your tent. Adjust height to 18-24 inches above the canopy for seedlings, 12-18 inches for flowering.

Connect the driver

The IB-200 driver mounts outside or inside the tent. Keeping it outside reduces tent heat. Plug the driver into a standard 120V outlet (or 240V/277V where applicable).

Set your dimming level

Turn the driver knob to set intensity. Start seedlings around 40%, bump to 60-80% for veg, and run 100% during flower. Each click is a 20% increment.

Connect a controller (optional)

Plug into an AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro or Controller AI to automate on/off schedules, sunrise/sunset dimming ramps, and app monitoring. The dongle port also supports daisy chaining additional Ionboards.

Frequently asked questions
The Ionboard S24 covers germination through flowering with its full spectrum (3000K, 6500K, 660nm, 730nm). Use the dimmer to lower intensity for seedlings and crank it up for flower. No need to swap fixtures between stages.
The board physically measures about 12 x 24 inches, so it fits lengthwise in a 2x4 and can also work in wider tents. For a 2x2 tent, the Ionboard S22 (100W) is a better dimensional match. If you do use the S24 in a 2x2, you will want to dim it significantly to avoid light stress.
No. The Ionboard S24 works out of the box with manual dimming via the driver knob. A controller adds automated scheduling, sunrise/sunset ramps, and app monitoring, but it is completely optional. Many growers start without one and add it later.
At 220W, the Ionboard S24 produces significantly less heat than a 400W or 600W HPS that covers similar area. The fanless aluminum body spreads heat across the board surface rather than concentrating it. Most growers in 2x4 tents with proper ventilation do not need to add cooling specifically for this light.
Yes. The driver has a port for connecting to other Ionboard fixtures using expansion dongles (sold separately). When paired with a UIS controller, you can manage multiple lights from one device. This is useful if you scale up to a larger tent or run multiple zones.
AC Infinity provides a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. With a rated lifespan of 50,000 hours, the diodes should maintain output well beyond the warranty period under normal use.
If you receive a defective or damaged unit, email us a photo at help@happyhydro.com and we'll make it right immediately: replacement or refund, your call. Shipping
Check the order confirmation sent to your email or phone after checkout — it includes a tracking link. If you use the Shop App, you can track your order there too.
Most orders arrive in 3-5 business days. Expedited options (2-day, overnight) are available at checkout if you need it sooner.
Signature is only required on orders over $500. For added privacy, we can ship to your local UPS Store so you pick it up on your own schedule — just ask.
We default to UPS Ground or USPS Ground Advantage. Select an expedited option at checkout and we'll use the appropriate carrier for that service.
  • P.O. boxes: Yes, for small and lightweight items.
  • International: Canada only. Email help@happyhydro.com your address and a screenshot of your cart for a shipping quote.
  • APO/FPO: Not currently available.
For Canadian orders, import duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility. You'll complete payment using your tracking number at UPS.com when your package arrives.
Title and risk of loss pass to you once we hand off to the carrier, but that doesn't mean we leave you hanging. Email help@happyhydro.com and we'll work overtime to track it down and make it right.

Returns & Cancellations

Multi-light orders, grow tents, orders over $500, and multi-box shipments may incur return shipping charges. AK, HI, and international buyers are responsible for return and warranty shipping. Some vendor-specific policies may apply — check the product page for details.
Refunds are processed through Shopify within 10 business days. Most customers see the credit back in about 5 days.
