Xtreme Tea Brew Application Instructions

2. Fill with Filtered Water: Fill the brewer with fresh, filtered water. For best results, we recommend using a Hydrologic Reverse Osmosis system to remove any chlorine and chloramines from your water supply. Maintaining water temperatures between 60°F and 70°F throughout the brewing process is ideal.

Aerated Brew Instructions:

1. Add Ingredients: Place the nylon tea brew bag in the water without opening it. Then, tear open the Activator food pack and add its contents to the brewer.

2. Brewing Ratios:

   • For 3 to 5 gallons of water: Use 1 (80g) Brew pouch along with the contents of 1 Activator food pack.
   • For 15 gallons of water: Use 3 (80g) Brew pouches along with the contents of 3 Activator food packs.

3. Oxygenate the Solution: Keep the solution well-oxygenated using air stones. Allow the brew to process for 24-48 hours with the help of a submersible pump for the best microbial activity and nutrient extraction.

Quick Brew Instructions:

1. Mix Ingredients: In a bucket containing 3 to 5 gallons of water, add 1 (80g) Brew pouch. Squeeze and vigorously massage the pouch for 60 to 90 seconds, allowing the material to seep into the water. (We recommend wearing waterproof gloves during this step for safety.)

2. Add the Food Pack: Once the compost material is mixed into the water, add the contents of 1 Activator food pack. Stir the solution until everything is well mixed.

3. Immediate Application: The quick brew is ready for immediate use. Apply it promptly to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Application Guidelines:

• Full-Strength Application: Pour the tea (whether brewed through the aerated or quick method) directly around the base of each plant. Follow with a thorough watering to ensure the tea penetrates the root zone.

  • For 1 to 3-gallon containers: Use 1 to 2 cups of tea.
  • For 5 to 7-gallon containers: Use 3 to 4 cups of tea.
  • For 10 to 20-gallon containers: Use 5 to 8 cups of tea.
  • For 25 to 50-gallon containers: Use ½ to 1 gallon of tea.
  • For 100-gallon containers: Use 2 to 3 gallons of tea.

• Diluted Application: After brewing, Xtreme Tea Brews may be diluted if desired. The maximum recommended dilution is 1 gallon of tea for every 10 gallons of water (a 1:10 ratio).

Hydroponic Systems:

• Timing: It’s best to add the tea 24 hours before changing the reservoir. Running tea in a hydroponic system for extended periods is not recommended.
• Application Rate: Add brewed tea at the rate of 1 to 2 gallons of tea concentrate for every 10 gallons of nutrient solution.
• Frequency: Use the tea throughout the growing season, including during the week prior to harvest.

Cleaning the Tea Brewer:
